The GCSAA Conference and Trade Show is the biggest week in the golf course management calendar. For Syngenta, it’s a week to meet customers, celebrate its people and gather content that keeps working long after the stands come down.

The 2026 show was in Orlando, in the GCSAA’s centennial year.
Over five days, we filmed Syngenta’s global team meetings, a media day out on the course, the opening session, a 5K at dawn and a centennial party under the lights of ICON Park. The week finished on the trade show floor, with awards, receptions and a lot of ground to cover. There were three of us to capture all of it.
Most event films get watched once.
Too much event coverage ends up as a two-minute highlights reel, watched once and forgotten. That’s a lot of flights and hotel rooms for one film.
e went to Orlando with a very different list. It included a sponsorship showreel, a film on the year’s priorities, pieces on innovation, wellbeing, education and partnerships, customer testimonials, product and installation videos and photography. On top of that were six podcast episodes with teasers, and more than a dozen short videos answering the questions the industry is searching for.
A big week, shared.
We weren’t the only ones there for Syngenta. Our long-time friends at Landmark Media, the golf marketing and PR agency we’ve worked alongside for more than twenty years, were there too. Between us, the week came together as one story told many ways: event films, leadership pieces, customer stories, Growing Golf podcasts and a steady stream of social, all pulling in the same direction.
A plan, and room to move.
Every output was agreed before we flew. But plans change. A session overruns, a guest turns up early, or something happens that nobody scheduled.
That’s why we build in flex, and it’s about more than catching moments. Sometimes it means asking the follow-up question that gives an answer its context. Sometimes an interviewee says something unexpected, and we know straight away it belongs in a different film. Now and then, we spot a whole new output and get the client’s nod before the moment has passed. Syngenta trusts our judgement to make those calls.
Twelve hours.
The CEO’s speech was the first test. We filmed it, cut it and had it ready in under 12 hours, and the rest of the edit kept that rhythm from Orlando all the way back to the UK.
Event content loses value by the day. We’d rather the films land while everyone still remembers how the week felt.
Three people, one machine.
Everyone knew their role, so we could split up across the convention centre, hotel meeting rooms, a golf course and the streets of Orlando, then regroup and keep moving without a wasted word. Years of working together will do that.
“Great films made with great people, that’s what it’s all about.”

What it means for you.
If you’re investing in an event, get more from it than a highlights reel. Plan your outputs before you arrive, leave room for the unexpected and edit while the energy is still there. One week can keep you going for months.
